Yet another reason to use Windows XP Pro instead of Home

I just discovered that Home Edition does not have EFS ( Encrypting File System) built in. It's only on Pro. Bummer. In other words, you can right click a file>properties>advanced button then check the encrypt option. The filename turns green, the file is somewhat protected as a certificate is generated for that file and all is good. But stupid Home Edition doesn't have this. Yar!

But all is not lost. Thankfully there is such a thing as open source code. http://axcrypt.axantum.com/
