Police: Serial Burglar Hits Sunnyvale
The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety is seeking the public's help in solving a series of burglaries that began Nov. 1 in the city's southeast area.
The burglaries generally happen in the early evening hours, typically on a Friday or Saturday, when the burglar enters through open windows or back doors taking money and jewelry, the department reported.
The burglar apparently knows the difference between costume jewelry and valuable items.
